Betty B. Kanney, 83 of Winchester, VA passed away peacefully on Friday, March 4, 2022.

Betty Louise Baker was born on May 11, 1938 the daughter of the late Lee & Audrey Baker. She Graduated from Waynesboro High School, Class of 1956. Betty married Alfred W. Kanney on January 30, 1957 in Waynesboro, VA. She retired in 2003 after working more than 30 years at the Virginia Employment Commission.

Betty leaves behind two daughters, Kathy Watson of Fairmont, NC and Patty Kanney of Winchester, VA and her son, Fred Kanney of Bluemont, VA; grandchildren, Stephen Price, Stephany Price, Alyson Williams, Liam Kerns and Lindsey Mosely; seven great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Betty will especially be missed by Eddie, Katelynn, Kelsey & Landon. Betty will be forever loved and forever remembered.

No services for Betty will take place as she requested, but your love and support is greatly appreciated for the family at this time.
