Betty Ann Quesinberry, 77, of Winchester, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, October 27, 2018, at Winchester Medical Center.

Mrs. Quesinberry was born in Jefferson County, West Virginia in 1941, the daughter of the late Walter Carroll and Dorothy May Boyer. She worked as a Critical Care Tech for Valley Heath for 31 years from June 1978 until her retirement in November 2009. She was of the Methodist faith. Betty was a member of The Winchester Elks #867 and also the Winchester WOTM Chapter #1367 in which she was a member for 47 years, held the degree of collegian, and was past senior regent from 1974 – 1975. Betty enjoyed doing cross stitching, coloring, and word searches. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who enjoyed being with her family. This also included her Blue Heeler, Daisy, who was her daily companion. Betty also valued her monthly nurses’ luncheons.

Betty married George Adrian Quesinberry on September 1, 1990. He preceded her in death in 2016.

Betty is survived by her daughters, Wilma Jackson Orndoff, Wanda Jackson Orndorff, and Bonnie McFarland Keller (Craig); grandchildren, Michael Orndorff (Penny), Ben Orndorff, Jordan Meier (Kevin), Amanda Woods (Omar), and Zack Keller; great grandchildren, Shaun Orndorff, Jonathan Orndorff, Catherine Mary Jane Given, and Adrian Cash Meier. Betty is also survived by her dear friends and caregivers, Gloria Dill and Debbie Holliday who recently spent many fun girl times together.

A gathering of friends and family will be held on Sunday, November 4th, from 5:00 until 7:00 pm at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, November 5th, at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel with dear friend Judy Whipp Mills as celebrant. The Winchester Women of the Moose will also hold a special ceremony. Interment will be private.

Wilma, Bonnie, Wanda... thinking of you at this difficult time. My memories of you all and Betty are many. May God give you comfort.

My deepest sympathy to Betty Ann family. She was a classmate and neighbor with me. May you have many wonderful memories. God be with you during this difficult time.

I have known Betty my entire life and can say she was a wonderful lady who truly cared about others. This world was a better place by her being in it. To: Betty's Family, She was a super nurse at WMC, She was my husband's nurse in 1997 in the heart unit. What a wonderful nurse she was and will long be remember for the dedication she had in her professional field, May God hold each of you in the palm of his hand during the days ahead.
