I didn’t have the pleasure of knowing Bettie, but I know she was a special person because I know Daphne. I worked with Daphne a short time, but we quickly developed a friendship that will last a lifetime. I know how much Daphne loved her Mom, and the special bond they had. I pray God gives Daphne and her family the strength to get through this difficult time. Love and prayers to Daphne and her family. Rest In Peace Bettie.

I didn't know Mrs. Betty that well but I was roommates with her daughter, Daphne, at Tennessee Temple University. I know she was an amazing mom to Daphne! I know she will be missed by many people. I do remember a time that her family came to the college and was gracious enough to take me along. If I am not mistaken, it was a Ryan's Steakhouse. I had a great time getting to know her family that night. I am grateful that she knew Jesus as her Saviour . I know she is resting in Him. Praise the Lord that we will see her again!

I heard so many wonderful things about her from my very good friend, her daughter Daphne, that I felt like I knew her. What an inspiration she must have been to all who knew her. My regret is that I never had a chance to meet her. Rest in peace Mrs. Turner.

❤️?❤️~Today (and every day) we will celebrate Mom's going Home. I can't say I'm not sad. . . .it's all surreal and bittersweet at the same time. She would remind me many times that she would be leaving this world one day and that I would have to go on though difficult it may be. Lol, her logic though true was sometimes the softer side of my military father's thinking, but yet the two said exactly the same things just different words.? She touched so many people and without much effort simply by living her life as Christ would. If u hadn't met her in person somehow u knew of her. She wasn't perfect, though I may be a bit biased, lol, but she lived to love and show Christ to those around her. She would say you can't live in this world without Him and I know I'm definitely not going to try. He was her strength and today He's mine!! I've got some pretty big shoes to fill, lol. ?❤️ She loved the book of Philippians and always quoted these two verses: 4:13 which is my life verse . . ."I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." & 4:4 "Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice." Today we are going to do just that, REJOICE!!! I know she's watching over us and doing the exact same thing!!! ?❤️? Rest easy Mom!!! I know He said "You far surpassed well done and faithful servant"!!! Til we see you again. . .~❤️?
