Bethel R. Strosnider
Bethel Virginia Rudolph Strosnider, 95, of Frederick County, Virginia, died Wednesday, November 28, 2012, in Winchester Medical Center.
Mrs. Strosnider was born in 1917, in Shenandoah County, Virginia, the daughter of the late George and Lena Mary Rudolph. She was an inspector for Crown Cork and Seal retiring after 17 years of service. She was a member of Bethel Evangelical Lutheran Church for 75 years, having become a member in 1937. She was a member of the Jolly Crowd; Women of the Moose – Winchester Chapter 1367 since 1969; and Albin Homemakers Club. Mrs. Strosnider enjoyed her family and flowers.
She married Welton N. Strosnider in Winchester, Virginia, in 1936, he preceded her in death in 1966.
Surviving is her daughter, Jacquelyn “Jackie” Brown of Annapolis, Maryland, sons, James “Jimmy” Strosnider and wife, Shirley, of Winchester, Donald Ray Strosnider of Leesburg, Virginia; five grandchildren, Tina Brown-Buxton, Jim Brown, Jr., Cynthia Savarese, Sandy Hulver, Mathew Strosnider; great grandchildren, Dario II, Madison, Melchoir and Samuel Savarese, Amanda and Benjamin Hulver, Kinsey and Amber Strosnider; Jamie, Carey and Robin Buxton. A step great granddaughter, Emily Bucklew
One sister, Catherine Orndorff and brothers, John, Ray, Max and Jack Rudolph, preceded her in death.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, prior to the service, from 10-11:00 AM, at Bethel Evangelical Lutheran Church.
A funeral will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Saturday, at Bethel Evangelical Lutheran Church with Reverend David Young and Reverend Heidi David-Young officiating. Interment will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park, Frederick County, Virginia.
