Allison DeBar left a message on November 8, 2024:
While I never got the chance to meet you in person, you helped raise my best friend, and I will forever be grateful for that. Your strength, humor, love, and passion for quilting will forever be engrained in those whose lives were blessed to know you. These memories are your legacy, and they will not be forgotten. Your granddaughter Holly speaks of and loves you dearly, and I promise to always be there for her. May you rest forever in peace with the many who were called up before you. To her family, i am so sorry for your loss, may you find peace, joy, and happiness in the many memories you have had with her.

I am honored to have gotten to call her Grandma, I belonged to her and she to me. Never did I question my place nor second guess my value, as she always made sure I knew both. She was an amazing woman and along with Granddad created the most beautiful family and her legacy lives on in all of them.
