Bernadine “Bernie” Marie Roth Stauffer, 52, of Stephens City, Virginia passed away on Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at Blue Ridge Hospice Inpatient Care Center in Winchester, Virginia surrounded by her loving family, after witnessing the marriage of her daughter, Emily.

Mrs. Stauffer was born in 1965 in Lewistown, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Nelson R. and Emma Jane Roth. She was a member of Life Church in Stephens City where she was employed as a secretary and was also a bookkeeper and administrative assistant for Buffalo Wild Wings. Mrs. Stauffer graduated from Eastern Mennonite College, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business. She deeply loved the Lord, as well as spending time with her family, friends, and church family.

She married Wade Stauffer on September 16, 1989 in Broadway, Virginia.

Surviving with her parents and husband, of 28 years, are three daughters, Emily Stauffer Rolin (Oscar), Hannah Stauffer and Leah Stauffer, all of Stephens City, Virginia; three brothers, Darrel Roth of Altoona, Pennsylvania, Cedric Roth of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, and Arlin Roth of Martinsburg, Pennsylvania.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11 am to 12:30 pm at Life Church, 199 Agape Way, Stephens City, Virginia. A Celebration of Life will follow at 12:30 pm at the church. Interment will be private.
