Bernadette (Chachulski) Oyler, 71, of Stephens City, VA and formerly of Baltimore, MD passed away peacefully in her home on August 13, 2015.
Bernadette was born on February 5, 1944 in Baltimore. She is the daughter of the late James and Martha (Bancewicz) Chachulski. She was a 1962 graduate of Mervo High School and a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Winchester.
She married William B. Oyler, IV on April 1, 1967 in Baltimore.
Surviving with her husband is a daughter, Marcy Oyler and boyfriend Robert “Skip” Smith of Winchester; her son, William B. Oyler, V and wife Tammi of Wilmington, DE; and grandchildren Kyle P. Gainard of Kingston, PA and Avery J. and Nathan B. Oyler.
She is also survived by her brother, James and wife JoAnn and their son, Patrick; and her brother Frank and wife Carol.
She owned Saratoga Monograms in Baltimore and worked 16 years at Gabriel Brothers in Winchester. She was active in the Ladies Club at Sacred Heart and Winchester Women of the Moose. Those who knew her will remember her kind spirit.
The family will receive friends on Monday, August 17, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel in Winchester.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, August 18 at Sacred Heart Church with Father Stanley J. Krempa officiating. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
