My Dad, Rev. Will miss you Grandma Kohl. I'm glad to have known you. Her maiden name was Nuttle, and she was born to Glenn Nuttle and Esther Woodring, to honor her roots and genealogy.

Awe Cindy, Uncle Harold told me she was preaching at church and he was very young, some of his buddies were laughing and making fun behind her back and he told them to be quiet. That's going to be his wife someday. And they didn't really know each other yet. I'll always remember going to a church with them in NJ. I was about 5 or 6, I was leaning against Aunt Beas arm with my eyes closed. She was singing with everyone but I could especially hear her voice. I never heard anyone else, sing so beautifully and sweetly. Her sweetness, patience and kindness is what I'll always remember and she is the woman I looked up to and wished I could be most like. I love you Aunt Bea and the entire family.
Rev. Roswell and Sandra Flower left a message on December 26, 2023:
I encountered the Kohls at various functions of the Potomac District of the Assemblies of God over the years. I served as photographer for the District for many of those years. In addition to our personal contact with Harold and Bea, we felt connected to them through our dear friend Lottie Riekehof, who partnered in ministry with Bea before she married Harold. In addition to our sincere personal condolences to the Kohl family, we would like to represent Lottie, and Linda Martin as well, who of course would want to share in these sentiments. May the Prince of Peace, Whose advent we celebrate at this time of the year, bring you comfort, and fill your hearts with the Peace that passes understanding. In Christian love, Roswell and Sandra Flower.
Loren Harold Kohl left a message on December 26, 2023:
Well done thou good and faithful servant. (Matt 25:21) is what you heard, Mom. We rejoice with you on your victorious transition to eternal glory. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord! ( 2 Cor 5:1-9) We will miss you for awhile because of our own earthly feelings but we will meet up with you in the air very soon. What a day that will be!!!

My grandma told me when she first met my grandpa, she was speaking at the church he attended. His hair was always slicked straight. She looked out the window of the house the church provided for her to stay and saw my grandpa mowing the yard. He had beautiful wavy hair. She asked him why he hides his wavy hair and that she liked it that way. Next time she spoke at the church, he showed up with his beautiful wavy hair.
