Beatrice E. Crouch

Beatrice Ella Perry Crouch, 93, of Paw Paw, West Virginia, passed away Thursday, January 24, 2013, in Winchester Medical Center.

Mrs. Crouch was born in 1919, in Fredericksburg, Virginia, the daughter of the late Joseph E. and Mary F. Perry. She was employed in the banking industry as a bookkeeper. Mrs. Crouch was of the Methodist Faith. Beatrice was a kind and gentle soul, who had a passion for all God’s creatures, especially her dog Sugar. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was known for rejoicing in her Celtic heritage. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She married Carter L. Crouch in 1946, in Alexandria, Virginia. He preceded her in death, November, 1999.

Surviving are her sons, Douglas C. Crouch and wife, Marylou, of Paw Paw, West Virginia, Ronald L. Crouch and wife Kathryn, of New Bern, North Carolina, four grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. Three sisters and two brothers preceded her in death.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 13, 2013, from 1:00-2:00 PM, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM, on Wednesday, February 13, 2013, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel, with Reverend Jerrad Holloway officiating. Interment will be in Cheltenham National Cemetery, Cheltenham Maryland.

I will have so many fond memories of time spent with Bea and her husband Carter at their home in southern Maryland. They were both so gracious and welcoming. We go for weekends or day trips and have our crab feasts or go water skiing. I hope she is with Carter once again.

Dougie and Ronnie, I know it"s harder to lose Mom than it was Dad. Must be a guy thing. We are so Blessed to of had mothers from the Perry family. I say sometimes they make me mad :) they left us down here and they are having a reunion in Heaven like we haven't never seen. I can't wait for one day to see them all waiting on the other side of the river and they can turn to Jesus and say, "Look What Followed Me Home". If you need anything, we are just a phone call away.
