Barbara Marguerite (Wingfield) Adams, of Winchester, Virginia, passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 20, 2022, at the age of 75. Barbara was the daughter of Kirthwood W. and Clara Marguerite Wingfield.

Barbara is survived by her son, whom she loved dearly, Tim Adams and wife Kelly, two granddaughters Taelor Adams and partner Hunter Barbour, Kaelen Castro and husband Manny, and (almost three) great-grandchildren, Allison, 5, Alex, 3, and Julian, due any day.

Barbara also leaves behind two sisters, Bonnie Triplett and Brenda Ambrose. Barbara was preceded by her sister Peggy Paserba.

Barbara was retired from Winchester City Schools, where she spent many decades serving the students of Winchester.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday, November 1st, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel at 11 am. Followed by the graveside service at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
