Barbara Jean Frazier

Barbara Jean Frazier, age 61, of Winchester, Virginia, died Saturday, July 31, 2010, at Blue Ridge Hospice Residential Center.

Mrs. Frazier was born in 1949, in Mt. Pleasant, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Martin and Dolores Evon. Barbara was a member of the catholic faith. She was employed as a sales associate for Sheetz. In previous years she also worked as a skilled seamstress. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend who will be greatly missed by all.

She married Ellis Wade Frazier on February 19, 1977. He preceded her in death on May 4, 1981.

Surviving in addition to her mother, Dolores Myers, are her step father, Steve Myers; two sisters Carol Ann Clem and her husband Barry of Cross Junction, Virginia, Deborah Evon-Sumpman and her husband Patrick of Manheim, Pennsylvania; nieces and nephews, Tina and Tim Ray, Marty Clem, Stephanie and Bill Oldham, Brandon and Jeremie Sumpman; great nieces and nephews, Timothy, Thomas, Alyssa, Cody, Tyler, and Faith; and great great niece, Alexa.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst

Chapel, Winchester, with Father Michael Dobbins officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Culpeper, Virginia.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
