Barbara “Barb” Ann Lescalleet, 67, of Stephens City, Virginia was called to her Heavenly home on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Winchester Medical Center.
Barb was born in 1949 in Brockway, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Francis and Helen Caracciolo. She graduated from Central Christian High School in DuBois, Pennsylvania. Barb was employed at Cooper’s Jewelers and in customer service at American Woodmark. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and enjoyed her animals. Barb had a passion for cooking/baking and feeding everyone; no one went hungry if you came to her home. She always cared about others over herself. Barb was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church.
Barb married John Robert Lescalleet on August 6, 1971 in Falls Creek, Pennsylvania.
Surviving with her husband is daughter, Carrie N. Baggarly (Boyd); sons, Chad D. Lescalleet (Tara) and John A. Lescalleet (Cindy); grandchildren, Ainsley, Hallie, Noah, Jonah Lescalleet and Camrohn and Caoilyn Baggarly; sister, Anna Mary Magistrelli; brother, Francis “Bud” Caracciolo (Frances); as well as many loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel with a memorial service to follow at 7:30 p.m. with Father Krempa officiating. Interment will be private.
