Arthur “Art” Allen Snyder, age 62, of Winchester, Virginia, passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2026, at Winchester Medical Center.

Art was born on September 29, 1963, in Fairfax County, Virginia, to Pamela Jane Snyder (Pearson) and the late Arthur Robert Snyder. A true jack-of-all-trades, Art could fix or build just about anything. He spent his career working in the construction industry as a skilled Mechanic and Operator for Gull Corporation in Leesburg, Virginia.

On July 25, 2015, Art married the love of his life, Linda A. Snyder (Mentzer), in Lovettsville, Virginia.

An avid outdoorsman, Art loved to farm and found great peace being outside, whether he was relaxing on a beach or taking in the scenery in the mountains. He had a deep fondness for 80s classic rock music, but nothing brought him greater joy than the time he spent with his beloved family and his loyal dogs, Sophie Rose and Chevy.

He is survived by his wife, Linda; his children, Brittney Snyder, Aubrey Snyder, and Arthur “Artie” Snyder; his mother, Pamela Jane Snyder; three sisters, Linda Owens, Pamela “Pamie” Snyder, and Penny Snyder; and his two cherished grandchildren, Upshur Taylor III and Brantley Snyder.

Art was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Robert Snyder; his sister, Patricia “Patti” Snyder; and his two brothers, William “Billy” Snyder and Thomas “Tommy” Snyder.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Art on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at 2pm at 109 Boundary Ave. Winchester, VA 22602

A private graveside service will take place at Panorama Memorial Gardens.
