Anna Catherine Jenkins Funk

Anna Catherine Funk, 85, of Stephens City, Virginia, died Tuesday, November 20, 2012 in a local nursing facility.

Anna was born in 1926, in Middletown, Virginia, the daughter of the late Pearl and Ruth Jenkins. She was a graduate of Middletown High School.

Her spouse, Walter William Funk, whom she married on February 20, 1946 in Winchester, Virginia, preceded her in death on February 8, 2009.

Surviving are her two daughters, Linda Gail March, of Inwood, West Virginia and Ruth Ann Spielman, of Winchester, Virginia; two sons Wayne Allen Funk, of Winchester, Virginia and David Lee Funk, of Stephens City, Virginia; ten grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a grandchild, two sisters and three brothers.

The family will receive friends on Monday, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Tuesday at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel with Pastor Tommy Crosby officiating. Interment will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park, Frederick County, Virginia.
