Ann Elizabeth Hughes, 63, a former Winchester resident, departed this life Saturday, July 11, 2015, in Herndon, Virginia.
Ms. Hughes was born March 25, 1952, in Winchester, the daughter of the late Thomas Boyd Ford, Sr. and Josephine Helen Ford.
She was formerly married to the late Avon Anderson Hughes.
She worked in the accounting and marketing industries for many years and attended John Handley High School and Shenandoah University’s School of Nursing.
Survivors include her only child, Renee Williams of Lansdowne, VA; her son-in-law, Gary Williams also of Lansdowne; two brothers, Tony Ford of Centreville, VA and Thomas Ford, Jr. of Winchester, VA; as well as many nieces, nephews and other close relatives.
Her sister, Barbara Ridgeway, preceded her in death.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel with Reverend Manuel Rivera officiating.
