Ann B. Stine, 78, of Winchester, passed away Monday, August 30, 2021 peacefully at home with her sons by her side. She was born January 29, 1943 in Winchester, VA the daughter of the late Paul Evelyn Bromley Sr. and Hazel “Peggy” (Lowery) Bromley.

Ann was a graduate of Handley High School and was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church where at one time she was the Office Manager for Sacred Heart Academy. She was also employed with FEMA for over 20 years where she would eventually retire as a Human Services Specialist.

Ann married William “Bill” E. Stine Jr. on June 8, 1963 in Winchester and he preceded her in death on June 6, 2014.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was also preceded in death by her brother Paul E. “Punchy” Bromley Jr. on August 11, 2021.

Ann is survived by her two sons Tommy Stine (Tina) and Casey Stine; grandchildren Elijah and Ella Stine; her brother Dennis James Bromley (Bobbie) and also survived by her many loving nieces, nephews and her dear family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation Tuesday from 6-8pm at the Omps Funeral Home, 1600 Amherst St., Winchester. Private interment will take place at Mt. Hebron Cemetery.

My condolence to the Stine family in the passing of Ann. I worked with her at FEMA and she was a very sweet lady.

I'm very sad to learn of Ann's death. She and I, along with her brothers, the late Punchy, and Dennis, and several others spent many fun times growing up on Liberty Avenue. Her family will be remembered in my prayers.

My deepest sympathy to Ann's family and friends. I grew up with Ann on Liberty Ave along with her brothers we had good memories. Again Ann will be missed R.I.P

We are very saddened to learn of Ann's passing and send our deepest condolences to the family. Ann worked with both of us at FEMA and she was a very compassionate and caring individual who took her job very seriously and did her very best to provide support and help to those in need of assistance. Everyone who ever met or knew Ann loved her - her beautiful smile, cheerful countenance - she was always a joy and fun to be around. I worked with her for many years and am so sad to hear of her transition. I say transition because I know she is free from pain now, onto the next journey. Sending prayers to her family and the many, many friends who all have loved her so much.

I'm so sorry to hear of Ann's passing. I had the privilege of working with her at FEMA for many many years. She will definitely be missed. Cherish the memories.

My heart hurts to hear of your loss. She may be out of sight. But will always be in your & our hearts. Ann, was a car pool buddy when we worked at Mt. Weather. We had a lot of laughs riding & working together.
