Angela Yvonne Shackleford (Scott), 66, of Bunker Hill, WV, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at UVA Hospital in Charlottesville, VA.

Angela was born in 1960 in Winchester, VA, daughter of the late David and Anna Louise Scott. She was a graduate of James Wood High School. Angela was an Administrative Assistant at Yount, Hyde and Barbour and a member of Winchester Church of God. She enjoyed traveling, attending Southern Gospel concerts, and playing board games with her friends. Angela liked watching classic TV shows, especially The Andy Griffith Show. Angela held a strong faith in God.

Her husband, Dennis Shackleford, preceded her in death in 2016.

Surviving is a daughter, Waverleigh Lawless and son-in-law, Calvin; brother, Greg Scott; and cousin, Mary Duvall Ways.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 10 am to 11 am on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel. A memorial service will follow the gathering at 11 am with Pastor Kent Woodward officiating. Interment will be private.
