Amy Dee (Lipkin) Zacharias, 73, of Berryville, Virginia and formerly northern Virginia passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at Winchester Medical Center after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer.
Born on December 16, 1950, in Philadelphia Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Robert Lipkin and Victoria (Balin) Lipkin. Amy worked in various office positions as a word processor and secretary for many years. Amy was a member of the congregation Adat Reyim in Springfield, Virginia, where she celebrated her bat mitzvah. In recent years, she attended Beth El congregation in Winchester Virginia. She had a love for crafts, especially crocheting and cross stitching even though not too many projects got finished, she loved starting the task.
She is survived by her three children, Michelle (Zacharias) Hunt, and husband, Aaron of Glen, Mills, Pennsylvania, Larry Zacharias, and wife, Krystyn, of Inwood, West Virginia, and Ron, Zacharias and Jessica of Wilmington, North Carolina. She is also survived by her grandchildren Lindsey and Paxton Hunt, Austin, Allyson, Tyler, and Dylan Zacharias, as well as two sisters Joanne Bening and Shelly Kline and husband, Frank.
