Alyce Michael (nee White) died on January 4, 2024, in Winchester, VA at 90 years of age.

Alyce is survived by her children Victoria Eggers, Elizabeth Michael, and Patrick Michael, and her grandchildren Sean Manzano, Michael Pommer, Bailey Pommer, Alexis Michael, and Ryan Michael. She is also survived by her siblings Phoebe West and Harry White.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 68 years Loyd (Mike) Michael, her parents Harry Sr. and Hazel White, and her sisters Helen Green, Eleanor Kines, Ruth Ann Darr, and Margaret Bradfield.

Alyce was an active member of the Round Hill United Methodist Church. She held several volunteer positions. Alyce was a creative person who enjoyed baking, sewing, and tending her roses. She was an accomplished oil painter. Later in life, Alyce devoted much of her time to the Cuddler Program at the Winchester Medical Center. Holding the babies gave her great joy.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 11am at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
