Alma F. Wenzel

Mrs. Alma Francis Wenzel, age 92, of Winchester, VA, died Tuesday, July 10, 2012, at Winchester Medical Center. Mrs. Wenzel was born in 1919, in Winchester, VA, the daughter of the late I. Ashby and Ada Graves. She worked in the retail clothing industry, and had been employed at Worth’s, the Modernage Shop, Wender’s, and Leggett’s Department Store. She was a member of Market Street United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Berryville Moose and the Winchester Elks Club. Mrs. Wenzel was a graduate of Stephens City High School, Class of 1936.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin J. Wenzel, in 1993.

Surviving is a daughter, Alsa J. Wenzel, sons, Joseph Wenzel and Jeffrey G. Wenzel, three grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and a sister, Louise Branner. A sister and two brothers preceded her in death.

All services for Mrs. Wenzel will be private.
