Velda and family, I remember Alfred as a man of great faith and extraordinary kindness. I will forever be grateful for the time he and his sister volunteered to take turns with feeding dinner to my mother, Armilda, when she was in the hospital. That was a loving and generous gesture for a cousin to do and taught be a keener appreciation of kinship. My thoughts and prayers are with you in sympathy. Ellen Fisher Adams
