Aileen Cutshaw
Aileen Whittaker Cutshaw, 88, of Stephens City, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2015, at Amerisist in Stephens City with her family by her side.
Mrs. Cutshaw was born in 1926, in Piney Flats, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Martin L. and Mary E. Whittaker. She was a graduate of Boone’s Creek High School in Tennessee. Mrs. Cutshaw was a retired secretary with Allied Wood Products, Inc. She was an active member of Word of Life Ministries in Stephenson, Virginia.
Her husband, Verlo Cutshaw, whom she married on February 21, 1948, preceded her in death on February 8, 2010.
Surviving is her daughter, Janice Neff (Ron) of Stephenson; sons, Alan Cutshaw (Susan) of Stephenson, Randall Cutshaw (Dianna) of Lenoir, North Carolina; grandchildren, Cassie Ogle (Bryan), Travis Cutshaw (Kari), Daniel Cutshaw (Angela), David Cutshaw (Katy), Dawn Nickelson (David), Michael Neff, Jessica Roberts (Daniel), Becky Cutshaw, Cindy Arney (Stephen); 17 great grandchildren; and sister, Helen Houston (Mack) of Piney Flats, Tennessee.
Two sisters, Vivian Tate, Margaret Barr and two brothers, Mitch Whittaker and Charles Whittaker, preceded her in death.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, from 6:00-8:00 PM, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Sunday, March 1, 2015, at Word of Life Ministries, 2560 Martinsburg Pike, Stephenson, Virginia with Pastor Ron Neff officiating. Interment will be private.
Pallbearers will be Travis Cutshaw, Daniel Cutshaw, David Cutshaw, Michael Neff, Stephen Arney and Daniel Roberts.
