Following the Memorial Service

Mr. Aiden Wayne Painter, affectionately known as “Mr. P”, 18, of Frederick County, VA, passed away Friday, February 14, 2025, at Winchester Medical Center.

Mr. P was born in Winchester, VA in 2006, son of Adam and Stacy Painter. He was a graduate of James Wood High School, Class of 2024 and a participant of Project Search at Winchester Medical Center. Mr. P was a member of Area 13 Special Olympics and loved riding his four-wheeler. He enjoyed bowling, playing Bocce, and loved his doggies.

Surviving with his parents is a sister, Sydney Painter and a brother, Keagan Painter, both of Winchester, VA; maternal grandparents, David and Judy Terry of Glengary, WV; and paternal grandparents, Larry and Sequita Painter of Beckley, WV.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 2:00pm at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel, Winchester, Virginia. A luncheon will follow the service in the Omps Reception Center.

So sorry for the untimely passing of your cherished son, Aiden.

You were a great person to be around, I remember a memory of me and you walking together talking about Pokémon cards and I remember you were willing to give me some of yours just to see me smile. I didn’t think of it much then but today that was so kind and sweet of you to do that. No one had the kindness and regards that you had to other people. My thoughts and prayers are with the whole family at this time. Aiden was a great young man and I am glad that I got to be a part of his life. Helping him out in his middle school years has great. He was a great helper and new how to make us laugh when we needed it or when we didn't. He will be missed greatly.

We were so sorry to hear the news of Aiden's passing. During the short time that we knew him from sporting events, it was obvious that he was someone that enjoyed every day. We will say a special prayer for your family during this time.

Stacy, Adam, Sydney, and Keagan, know that Aiden never met a stranger and was always the sunshine we all needed. He will be missed by so many. Prayers for comfort and peace during this difficult time.

I am so sorry for your loss. Aiden was such a sweet soul who went out of his way to say hi and ask how about your day.

Aiden was one of the nicest people I met throughout my K-12 journey. I met him way back in 5th grade and even up until senior year he'd smile and say hi everytime he saw me. I'm sorry for the loss of a genuinely good human being.

I am sorry for your loss. I will miss Aiden's visit and hugs.

Aiden was such a delight to be around. I remember him in the hallways of James Wood with the biggest smile and always willing to help his fellow classmates. Our prayers for his family that God will wrap His arms around each of you a little tighter during this difficult time.
