Aaron Milton Zuckerman, 91, of Winchester, Virginia passed away Monday, April 17, 2017 at Lynn Care Center in Front Royal, Virginia.
Mr. Zuckerman was born in 1926 in Winchester, Virginia, the son of the late Lewis and Celia Zuckerman. He attended John Handley High School and was a veteran in the United States Navy serving during World War II, Pacific Theater. Along with his late wife and son he owned Frederick Motor Company. Mr. Zuckerman was very active in Winchester’s civic organizations in which he volunteered and served for many years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, enjoyed anything outdoors. But most of all he was loved and respected by all who knew him.
His wife, Mamie Martressa Zuckerman, whom he married on April 4, 1948 in Washington, D.C. preceded him in death on March 23, 2017.
Surviving is a daughter, Kristen Gail Biauce (Prosper) of Martinsburg, West Virginia and son, Stanley Craig Zuckerman, Sr. (Sandra) of Frederick County, Virginia; grandchildren, S. Craig Zuckerman, Jr. (Janet), Cari Elaine Zuckerman (Joseph Spiggle), and Rebecca Aaron Zuckerman; great grandchild, Levi Craig Zuckerman; and brother, Charles Manuel Zuckerman of Winchester, Virginia.
Along with his wife, Martressa, he was preceded in death by sisters, Betty Bariff, Naomi Klevins, and Freda Greene; and brothers, Joseph, Samuel, and Irvin Zuckerman.
All services will be private. Arrangements are being handled by Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
