Natasha Lynn Howard (Tosh) of Frederick County, Virginia, passed away peacefully in her home on July 1st, after a long battle with cancer.
Natasha was born on November 13th, 1978, in Harrisonburg, Virginia. She spent her childhood and younger years in New Market, Virginia where she was raised by her beloved great grandmother, Grace Golladay. Natasha met her husband, Mark Howard, in 2003 and they were married in 2006. Natasha and Mark have two sons, Jackson and Jameson Howard, both of whom Natasha loved more than life itself. Besides Mark and the boys, Natasha is survived by her “favorite” big brother, Travis See of Stephens City, Virginia and her mother, Sandra Jones and her incredible stepfather, Pete Jones. Pete was by Tosh’s side throughout her battle with cancer. Natasha is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and her “titter” Natalie See. Many of her family members and friends were by Natasha’s side during her battle with cancer. Two of those cousins, Mary Bair of Mount Jackson, Virginia and Beth Branner of Grottoes were more like sisters than cousins.
Natasha was preceded in death by her father, David See of Hampshire, West Virginia and her sister, Special Yancey of Harrisonburg.
Natasha was a beautiful head strong woman who wasn’t afraid to tell you exactly what she thought, or to let you know how much she loved you. Tosh held a special place in her heart for her pets and all animals. She always rooted for the underdog and made a special effort to care for the underprivileged. Natasha also loved the Lord deeply and had faith in the promises that He guaranteed all of us that believe in Him. She loved discussing and growing in her faith with her aunt, Connie Whaley of Las Vegas. Through these talks and tears, Tosh grew especially close with the Lord.
The family plans to have a private celebration of life to honor Natasha.
