Touraj Tayebi left a message on January 10, 2018:
To Cheryl, Christopher, Greg, and Ken: My name is Touraj, Greg’s friend since grad school. I am truly saddened to hear of Lukas’ passing and offer my deepest condolences. I remember the night we were looking at Lukas in the twin’s photo when he was born, innocent and peaceful. So, it was just baffling when I heard for the first time about his struggle with the illness over a year ago. I had hoped he had beaten the disease, and yet I heard, in disbelief, the unwanted news yesterday. Although a very sad event, I give thanks to God for having let Lukas enter our lives, and I give thanks to his strong parents for having done all there was to make his short stay as pleasant as possible. I know how welcoming, kind, faithful, and caring the Seroka family is and have heard just the same about March’s, and because of that, I believe Lukas was very lucky to be your son and grandson and nephew. I pray to God to give the parents, grandparents, and all the families involved peace of mind and patience in the face of hardships. With much love and many hugs, Touraj.

Christopher, I don't know if you remember me, but you and I spent evenings together at your piano in your teen years. I just heard this morning about your loss of Lucas , and I am so deeply sorry. I know he was a beautiful treasure, and though briefly, made the world a better place. Please express my care and concern to your wife, parents and Lucas' entire family. I will keep all of you in my heart, and wish strength and peace for you as time takes you down the path of healing. Sincerely with love, Paula Midock

Brian Holder left a message on January 2, 2018:
Although I never had the privilege of meeting Lucas or his family, he has been in my prayers since being informed by a coworker of his illness. While there are no words, no matter how carefully chosen or softly spoken that can ease the pain of such a loss, my hope is that my intercessory prayers for the March family will bring some level of comfort to each of them during this difficult time. "Father, I thank you for your faithfulness to your Word and Your commitment to hearing and answering our daily prayers. Today I come to you upon notification of the loss of life of Lucas Matthew March who passed away on December 30th, 2017. I know that Lucas is with You at this very moment and that there's no better place for him to be than in the loving and unfailing arms of our Lord, Jesus Christ. Lord, as I pray for the March family, I ask that you would fill them with a deep sense of peace and grace. I ask that you would surround them with Your love and hope. Give them strength to carry on and to know that they still have a purpose on this earth and a commitment to Lucas to continue living. Remind them that Lucas will always be with them no matter what, in their memories; dreams; and embedded in the loving Spirit that dwells within each of their hearts. Touch them oh Lord, protect them from the spirit of doubt who will attempt to lead them to place blame or question your very existence, or feeling that their prayers went unanswered. As they prepare to lay Lucas to rest, let them know that you have heard each and every one of their prayers, though your response may not have been exactly what they hoped for, let them know deep within their hearts that while they loved little Lucas with all of their hearts, You oh Lord loved him 1000 times more than that and knew what was best. I pray that as this day passes, Your healing touch will comfort them in this time of distress and may this be the very thing that causes each of them to draw closer to You, knowing that You alone can mend broken-hearts and bring joy out of pain. I thank You Lord for being there for me, and answering my prayers faithfully. I place into Your hands, each member of the March family who I'm certain has great sadness in their hearts – I KNOW in Whom I believe and I am confident that You will bring good out of this situation. I give thanks unto you for the time you gave Lucas on this earth, the many lives he has touched even through his illness. I thank you for the many blessings that you have prepared for the March family thet they have yet to recieve... I give you all HONOR, PRIASE and GLORY. In the name of your Son, Jesus Christ, I pray.... Amen"
