Glenda J. Elms, 79, of Winchester, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021, at Evergreen Health and Rehab in Winchester, Virginia.

Ms. Elms was born in 1941, in Kentucky, the daughter of the late Dorothy and Byron Schulz.  She worked as a Secretary of the U.S. Dept of Defense and as Clerk of the Court in the U.S. District Court System, retiring in 1990. Ms. Elms enjoyed traveling and going out to eat.  She always loved a good time with family and friends.

Surviving is her daughter, Cindy Knicely; sons, Kevin Knicely and Steve Knicely (Pam); 5 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sister, Barbara David (Norman) and her nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Jim Schulz.

All services with Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel will be private.
