George Adrian Quesinberry

George Adrian Quesinberry, 75, of Winchester, Virginia, died Monday, August 15, 2016, at his home.

Mr. Quesinberry was born in 1940, in Beckley, West Virginia the son of the late Mabel I. and Austin Quesinberry. He was a Veteran having served in the United States Navy. George was employed with Stewart M. Perry as a mechanic. He was a member of the Elks Lodge BPOE 867 in Winchester, Virginia. George was a one of kind individual who can be remembered for his love of his family, gardening, cooking and telling jokes. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He married Betty Ann Boyer on September 1, 1990, in Winchester, Virginia.

Surviving with his wife are daughters, Irene Buskey and her husband, David, of Dinwiddie, Virginia, Rhonda Ortolano and her husband, Don, of Houston, Texas; son, James Doug Quesinberry of Dinwiddie, Virginia, step-daughters, Wilma Orndoff, Wanda Orndorff both of Winchester, Virginia, Bonnie Keller and her husband, Craig, of Stephensville, Texas, nine grandchildren; Leah Walker, Monica Walker, Anthony Ortolano, Willie B. Brown, III, Jordan Meier and her husband, Kevin, Ben Orndorff, Michael Orndorff and his companion Penny, Amanda Wood and her husband, Omar, and Zack Keller, six great grandchildren, Jaydon Carter, Adairean Walker, Lexi Jo Brown, Shaun Orndorff, Jonathan Orndorff and Catherine Given, two sisters; Pearl Bungess of Maben, West Virginia, Shelbia Peters and her husband Bill of Biglerville, Pennsylvania, three brothers; James E. Quesinberry and his wife, Marie, of Orrtanna, Pennsylvania, Thomas H. Quesinberry of Milford, Connecticut, Austin L. Quesinberry, Jr. Biglerville, Pennsylvania as well as many extended family members and close friends.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Monday, August 29, 2016, at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel with Reverend Jason Weaver officiating. Private interment will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park, Frederick County, Virginia.

I've been thinking about George for quite some time since I lost his number. I wondered since he had not contacted me for some time. I hoped thos wasn't true. I've been missing you George. So sorry I wasn't there Betty.

Our family unites in expressing our sadness at the passing of George. He was always close to all of us and we thank him for sharing Todd with us. Nothing can express how we feel. Love and miss you, George. Roy and Nora Harper Walker kids; Nancy, R.C., Gary, Laten and Sam.

George and I are cousins. I did not grow up with my cousins. I found my cousins through ancestry search. Four years ago at a family reunion I had the honor of meeting George. I had the feeling I knew him all my life. Love his smile and kind heart. He gave me necklace, and ask me never to forget him. Only wish we could have had more time. Family is so important. i will truly miss you giving me a hard time and ice cream trip to front royal to get ice cream i will never forget you at all you will alway be my dad heart and soul and no one will take that away

George was so much fun to work with.. He would sit in front of my desk and tell me the funniest jokes.. Always looked forward to seeing him then and after he retired and came to visit.. .A great man..
