Carrie was truly a one-of-a-kind soul. I'd known Carrie for decades as we grew up together in Saint Marys and for a year or so, I was one of her Karate instructors, watching her literally move up the ranks quickly thanks to her dedication and focus. Outside of the dojo, it was great to go running with her, hiking, or just bopping around our small town as young adults.
As happens with many when you graduate from college and move away, you lose touch. We tried to stay connected from time to time and Carrie was always curious how things were going and wished me well, as I'm certain she did with all her friends.
She will be greatly missed and like many, I feel a hole in my heart knowing she's no longer with us and she leaves a void in all of our lives. She loved her husband and daughter deeply, immediate and extended family, and we are are all better people for knowing her.
Mrs. Takarsh was an amazing teacher. She not only helped me love science but also helped me adjust to a new school. I will never forget her kindness to me or her smile. I am so sorry for your loss. My prayers are with you
Carrie was a radiant soul whose energy, kindness, and love touched all she knew.
As an incredible teacher, Mrs. Takarsh shaped so many minds and hearts, leaving a legacy of warmth and wisdom.
Carrie was Grayson's 6th grade Science teacher and to this day is still one of his favorite teachers. His love for Science and astronomy was formed in Carrie's class.
Carrie made the world a brighter place with her energetic personality and her passion for things she believed in and strived to accomplish.
I am forever grateful for the memories we shared teaching together at Aylor Middle School and through her being a dedicated FCCLA mom with constant support of Maisy and our ABMS FCCLA chapter.
I will miss Carrie's vibrant spirit more than words can express.
Throughout her illness, she showed extreme grace, strength, and faith in God. Her courage, bravery, and positive outlook was exceptionally inspiring.
Many prayers for Dave, Maisy, Carrie's extended family, friends, and students.
May all who knew Carrie be inspired to live each day of our lives to the fullest with the happiness and enthusiasm she shared with each of us.
our sincere condolences to all. May Our Almighty Lord hold each of you tight during this difficult time.

Carrie was such an amazing person! We talk about our game nights all the time. They were so much fun. We will miss seeing her on our annual treks. You were the best neighbors anyone could ever hope to have. We used to love watching Indie and Shelby playing in the yard.
Please let us know if there is anything we can do during this difficult time.

Mrs. Takarsh was my teacher in 2014 when I was in sixth grade. I am now 22, and I still remember the impact she left on me. She was an extraordinary teacher and I am deeply saddened to hear of her passing. She will never be forgotten.
My first memory of Carrie was when I baby sat her and Kristen. She was the sweetest little girl ever! Fast forward many years and she was the best Cross Country coach for my son. Sending prayers to Dave, Maisy, Jeanne, Kristen, Mike and Barbie.

Mrs. Takarsh was my science teacher in 2023-2024, it was clear that she loved her job and the subject she was teaching. I have so many great memories in her class, but one of my fondest memories are when she would mess up my first name and always call me Adrien on accident during attendance. Me and my friends still joke around about it and call me Adrien because of her. She was an amazing teacher and I’ll always remember her classroom and all the fun memories and friends I made in it.
Always in my heart,
Always be my friend,
The Bona bond,
Will never end.
Sending love and prayers to your family. May God fill your lives with wonderful memories and the promise of being together again one day.
Our prayers to Dave and his family. May God wrap His arms around each of you and hold you a little tighter during this difficult time. God Bless
Carrie was my young neighbor growing up. She was the sweetest, kindest, often shy, little blonde haired little girl who had a heart of gold and made many of us neighbors smile. It greatly saddens me for her to be taken so soon from her family. You are now in the arms of Jesus. My love to you and your family. Amy
I remember when David and Carrie got married. It was a wonderful day, full of happiness, and a beautiful memory that I feel privileged to be able to look back on. ❤️
