Audrey T. “Maw Maw” Jeller
Audrey Thelma “Maw Maw” (Taylor) Jeller, 87, of Stephens City, Virginia died Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at a local nursing facility.
Mrs. Jeller was born in 1927 in Martin County, Williamston, North Carolina, the daughter of the late Roland M. and Audrey Taylor. She was a 1944 graduate of Oak City High School in North Carolina. She was a switchboard operator for C & P Telephone Company (now Verizon), retiring after 40 years of service.
Mrs. Jeller married Anthony William Jeller on September 19, 1959 in Arlington, VA.
Surviving with her husband is a son, Keith Jeller (Staci) of Winchester, VA; four grandchildren, Andy Jeller (Danielle), Adam Jeller and Austin Jeller, all of Stephens City, and Aaron Jeller of Winchester; a great granddaughter, Arielle Jaylee Jeller of Winchester, and a sister, Shirley Smith of Ayden, North Carolina.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Anna Mildred Taylor and two brothers, Edgar Monroe Taylor and William Durward Taylor.
A Graveside Service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 28, 2014 in Woodlawn Cemetery, Williamston, NC. Arrangements in North Carolina will be handled by Biggs Funeral Home, Williamston, NC.
