Ann, Tommy, and Casey, Karen and her family, Mike and his family, and Bob and I offer you our deepest sympathy. We have shared so many terrific times with your family: Myrtle Beach (how many times), Carper's Valley summers, deep conversations on world events, like naming the newly elected pope. We sat around dinner last night with each of us recalling a fun time with you all. My kids hope that their children will have friends that mean so much. We love you and wish that we could be in Winchester at this time.

Dear Ann, Tommy, and Casey, Emily and I are so sorry about Bill. He was a great husband, father, grandfather, and friend. A whole range of memories flood my heart right now: His contagious smile, humor, laughter, the joy of his face when he played the great football game for Handley at Warren County his senior year in his first start, his competitive fire as a great softball player and his hitting and fielding skills, and the absolute pure joy and happiness he derived from watching his beloved sons, Tommy and Casey, excel on the football field. Bill was a charter member of the ‘Mad Bombers’ and ‘Cornstalk Gang.’ I can still see that mischievous grin after he dropped the cherry bomb in Dr. Quarles’ sport coat pocket. Only Bill could think of that escape. I will also never forget his great sense of loss when he lost his Dad, and the compassion, love, and care that he showered on his beloved Ann. Sunday was their 51st Anniversary and theirs was a love for the ages. He died as he lived, full throttle, 100% and thank God he did not suffer. We share your grief and love you so much. Bill, thanks for the joyous memories. Love and God Bless, Russ and Emily
