William Eugene Crump, Sr., age 88, of Winchester, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2015, in Winchester Medical Center.

Bill was born in Washington, D.C. in 1927, the son of the late Kenneth L. and Ruth N. Crump. After high school, Bill entered the Navy and served in the Atlantic and the Mediterranean as a signalman. After serving his country, Bill started his sales career with S & F Distributors in Winchester. Later on, he was in sales with Pifer Office Supply of Winchester, retiring in 1993. He was a member of Macedonia United Methodist Church and the VFW Post 2123.

Bill married Katherine B. DeHaven on July 25, 1970.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by his children, stepchildren, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He also is survived by a brother, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, October 28, 2015, at Macedonia United Methodist Church with Pastor Mike Mayton officiating. Interment will be in Macedonia Church Cemetery.
