I worked with Wendy in AM Admits since 2003. Wendy ALWAYS made a point everyday at work to ask how my son was. She really adorded children and had a way with them. She was a great coworker but above all Friend. She will be missed greatly.
I remember her having parties at her house for the staff. We had Judi's 50th surprise party and everyone had a blast. We had a Christmas party and sometimes just for the heck of it parties. We shared conversations about books we read, movies we saw and life in general. She taught me to appreciate Grand Marnier, Larry the Cable guy, and birds. She was one of the first staff members to cheer me on to a new job and promotion. I will always treasure my times with her.
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

I got to know Wendy earlier this year after she began experiencing eye problems as I was trying to offer her some support in the eye pain issues she was facing. We never had an opportunity to meet but we spoke regularly for some months and even in that brief period I felt she was a dear, dear woman - very affectionate and caring. I will never forget her.

Loved working with Wendy in Endoscopy at WMC. I will miss her. My symapthy to russ and her children.
Wendy was one of the first people to come over and help out after my mom was diagnosed with cancer. She was one of the sweetest people I know. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
Russ,
You are so fortunate to have had a lifelong ,loving spouse. I am sure losing Wendy is painful, but I hope you can find comfort in the lives you built together, your family and friends.
You are in my prayers....Karen Anderson
I
Can't imagine a world without Wendy.
Wendy and I went to Nursing School together. Boy were they in store. She was so much fun, intelligent and mischevious. Russ remember studing for anatomy with our cat on your dining room table!! Wendy also was a fantastic cook as well as you Russ. Wendy did what she did when she wanted and on her own terms. She was a beautiful free spirit and I think it was what we were all drawn to her. She is at least in my mind , stirring up some clouds in heaven with her new wings. She loved you Russ and her children and family and I know you will miss her terribly as do I!!!!!! God BLess Wendy and all of you.She will always will in my heart.

Wendy was a bright light in a difficult time for me. My daughter Sara was born several years after my mother had died, and I felt pretty alone. Wendy came over to be with me when I came home from the hospital. Maryam was 5, Jen was 12, my husband Allen had to work, and I was pretty overwhelmed. Wendy just came to my house after we were home from the hospital and made food, did chores, and let me rest with the new baby. Just because of the kindness in her heart.
We re-connected a couple of years ago, after losing track for a long time. She came to my women's devotional group, self-christened the "bagel goddesses", because we always have bagels at our gatherings! She encouraged us to read EAT, PRAY, LOVE, and to talk about what it meant. The India part of that book struck me profoundly, and motivated me to make some good changes. Oddly, we had decided to go see the movie this Thursday, and I had been trying to reach Wendy. I'll never forget you, dear Wendy - thanks for your kindness and searching questions.
