Bill, Barbara, Elizabeth, Mike, and Steven Miller left a message on March 19, 2020:
Dear Becky, Robert, Andrew, We were all very saddened to learn of Wayne’s passing. Even the passage of these many years has not dimmed memories of our families’ friendship in Hayfield. Those about Wayne that we particularly savor include Wayne’s scaring even the bravest cub scouts in our den telling “true” ghost stories in a back-yard camp-out, eager cub scouts shooting down a sizeable tree with Wayne's .22 at target practice during a real camp-out near Front Royal, and tagging along with Wayne looking for parts for homemade computer projects. Please accept our deepest sympathy for your loss. Bill, Barbara, Mike, and Steven Miller and Elizabeth (Miller) Williams

RIP Dad/Grandpa Smitty. I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?” John 11:25,26 We love you and miss you very much dad/grandpa, but we believe that we will meet again and will reign together forever and ever as the Lord has promised.
