Wanda Good Royston, 91, of Frederick County, VA, passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at the Village at Orchard Ridge.

Mrs. Royston was born in 1933, in New Market, VA, the daughter of the late Willie S. and Thomas W. Good Sr. She was a Registered Nurse with Winchester Medical Center serving for 10 years and later, John Handley High School, retiring after 29 years of service.

Mrs. Royston was a member of Opequon Presbyterian Church, a graduate of Broadway High School, Class of 1950 and Winchester Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, graduating in 1953.

She married James “Jim” Robert Royston on February 14, 1954, in Tenth Legion, VA. He preceded her in death on April 14, 2020.

Surviving are her daughters, Donna Royston (John Skowronski) of Fairfax, VA, Phyllis Gamble (Vernon) of Winchester, VA; stepdaughter, Jane Devereaux of Roanoke, VA; and grandson, Stephen Gamble of Winchester.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Peggy Garrett and brother, Thomas William “Bill” Good, Jr.

Memorial service will be conducted for Wanda on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at 2pm at The Chapel at the Village at Orchard Ridge.
