Wade Owen Huffman, 55, of Frederick County, Virginia passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at Winchester Medical Center.
Mr. Huffman was born in 1961 in Washington, D.C., the son of the late Kenneth M. and Audrey C. Huffman. He was a graduate of Wheaton High School in Wheaton, Maryland. Wade was a printing press operator and a member of Gainesboro Ruritan, as well as an active member of the N-SSA (North-South Skirmish Association).
Surviving are two brothers, Clint Huffman of Potomac Falls, Virginia and Matt Huffman of Keedysville, Maryland and beloved girlfriend, Carol White.
Wade was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Clay Huffman.
All services will be private. Arrangements are being handled by Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.

The years spent working with Wade at FASEB, were very heartwarming. He was a gentleman with a very big heart. Always willing to help a person out in need, and a lot of fun to be around. I was very taken with Wade, one of the most personable people I have ever met. I worked at Goddard Space Center with his father many years age. Wade always had time to talk and give good advice. I go to the N-SSA Range a lot during the week and Wade was always there working. He will be missed Ray Druen
