My heartfelt condolences to Vivi's entire family. I met Vivian at SSMT where we both were cast in Les Mis. I've never felt such a strong connection with someone so much younger than me before. Not only was Vivian so talented, but so loving and remarkably compassionate. Anyone working SSMT that year knows that our bond was so special---sister-like. She gave me joy, and learning about her passing, I am utterly heartbroken. I will carry my memories of her with me in my heart always.

Vivian Sansoni walked into my YPW class one summer and within 3 lines of cold reading it was evident beyond a doubt she was special,a gifted "natural", and was right where she belonged. She was 7 or 8. But anyone that spent time with her and knew her, knew that a large part of her as a person was much, much older than her biological years. She was unique. What made her such a good young actress was that as a person she was born with a determination that most people take years of living to acquire. 100% all-in. And, when she made up her mind to do something, she did it. Our future World has suffered a loss for her not being a part of it. When talking to Amy and Nelda, they expressed how important those first opportunities at Wayside were to Vivian being who she was - that we made her 'shine". The truth is, we didn't make that happen - we just gave her a way to get to do what she was meant to do - she shone all on her own. The impact she had on so many in so few years on the planet has been abundantly evident for the past few days as my phone goes off constantly with messages and is best described in this way: Warner worked to make Wayside a Family to all who worked there - and that included every child that stepped on stage. That Family is far flung now, but the number of Adult Actors , Teachers, and fellow young cast and classmates who worked with her at some point there that have reached out and been truly saddened by the loss of Vivian is at a number that equals the vast majority of most adults - who have already had many more years to live than she. That someone could make such a mark in only 13 years is the greatest testament to how special she was. I, of course, am not surprised in the least. She was unique. With love from too far away to her family and friends, Thomasin and Warner

My heart is broken at the passing of this unique, talented, beautiful light from this world. Vivian never walked; she bounced. She was vibrant. Just chatting with her gave me such facination and joy! She was floating bubbles wrapped in love and warmth. Vivan, you be missed so much more than you could ever have known, by more people than you could imagine. May God keep you close and warm you with His love. May God comfort your beautiful family in this tragic hour of pain and heartbreak.

I've been meaning to write to you for a while, but maybe now is a good time because 6 months have gone by, but I know the grief is still with you. I was Vivian's group piano teacher. And I wanted to let you know that she was such a joy to have in class. She was always smiling, friendly and enthusiastic. She liked to give hugs. She learned very quickly and always learned with a positive attitude. My prayers have been with you since I heard the news of her passing. I pray that you have sensed the presence of Jesus comforting you and holding you. He longs to give you hope of eternal life. John 3:16. Know that He cares and understands. I care about you, too.
