Violet F. Shultz
Violet Frances Iser Shultz, 91, of Frederick County, Virginia, died Monday, February 18, 2013, in a local nursing facility.
Mrs. Shultz was born in 1921, in Three Churches, West Virginia the daughter of the late Alfred W. and Cora E. Iser. She was a homemaker and a seasonal worker with National Fruit, retiring in 1989 after 34 years of service.
She married Roy Sylvester Shultz on December 25, 1940, in Cumberland, Maryland. He preceded her in death on April 15, 2006.
Surviving are two daughters, Barbara Jean Corbin and Beverly Ann Cook and husband, Robert, all of Winchester; four grandsons, Michael R. Shultz and wife, Susan, Daniel Corbin, Dennie Corbin and wife, Shelly, all of Winchester, Robert Lee Cook, II of Bradenton Florida; granddaughter, Jayna Corbin of Winchester; seven great grandchildren, Alicia and Amanda Shultz, Kaylee and Trinity Corbin, Kit, Dallas and Marcell Corbin and two great, great, grandchildren, Kallum and Hailey Shultz.
Three sisters, Hilda Sneathen, Virginia Bowen, Ivy May Iser and one brother, Archie L. Iser preceded her in death.
All services with Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel, will be private. Interment will be in Branch Mountain Primitive Baptist Cemetery, Three Churches, West Virginia.
