My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of Mr Grove. I got to know him and his family thru years that my daughter Autumn was on the swim team. He was a lovely man. Spent time at his lake house with him and his family thru swim team events there. God bless his family. I don't live in Va anymore and heard about him due to my brothers death on satdec 19. I pray for comfort for everyone during this time

Tommy and I were friends from the 1st Grade at John Kerr School. I lived just up the street from him and we played together all the time in his yard with his brothers and other friends. Even after he moved to the county after the 8th grade we stayed in touch. He had a quick wit and was just fun to be around. I will miss him greatly.

The Grove family has always had amazing reunions and holiday parties and get togethers. I remember a childhood full of fun loving aunts and uncles and cousins galore! In the spirit of Maynard & Grace, Tommy & Helen carried the torch offering year after year of good times. Sorry to say I moved away and have been able to attend much, but I know their efforts have been so greatly appreciated. Tommy was a funny generous man. He will be sorely missed.
