What a celebration of the life of Susan Myers that I experienced yesterday! It was a time of reflection by Darryl, Ryan, Bonnie & Luke to help us understand more about what a wonderful Wife, Mom and person Susan really was. The music sang by Bonnie and the band was so heart felt and worthy of Parise and Glory to God... if Susan was listening - you know she could not have been prouder. I have enjoyed and have been blessed by our season of life together with the five of you and will always remember and cherish that time. Thank you for sharing your lives with everyone in the group. I am truly sorry and hurt for your loss. - J.D.

I FEEL LIKE I AM IN A DREAM AND WILL WAKE UP AND SUSAN WILL STILL BE HERE. I GUESS THE LORD NEEDS HER MORE TO HELP PEOPLE IN HEAVEN. I REMEMBER SHARING A BED WITH SUSAN. I WOULD TALK IN MY SLEEP AND SUSAN WOULD ASK ME QUESTIONS AND I WOULD ANSWER HER BACK. A BOYFRIEND HAD BROKEN UP WITH ME AND SUSAN TOOK ME ROLLER SKATING TO CHEER ME UP. THAT IS WHERE SHE MET HER FUTURE HUSBAND, DARRYL. I WILL MISS PICKING UP THE PHONE AND GETTING CAUGHT UP ON OUR LIVES. THANKS FOR BEING A GREAT OLDER SISTER. LOVE YOU AND LOOK FORWARD TO BEING REUNITED IN HEAVEN!
Denny left a message on February 19, 2021:
Our love and prayers for Darryl and the family. Susan always made me feel loved and accepted in her presences and I know that was true for all that had the pleasure of sharing life with her. She was never shy about reflecting God’s love. Memory: It was interesting being her partner in a card game as she managed to succeed in an unorthodox way.

I will miss my tall sister and our long calls, texts, and her vivid dreams. I know she was so proud of her children and grandson. We shared pics of our grandchildren and children's weddings. I'm grateful for her help taking care of mom and the time we spent together. Gone too soon and will be missed!
