Mr. Steven Charles Enterline, 63, of Winchester, VA died Sunday, June 12, 2016 at Georgetown Hospital.
Mr. Enterline was born in 1952 in Wellsville, NY, the son of the late Robert R. and Helen E. Enterline. Steven grew up in Hagerstown, MD and graduated in 1975 from the University of Maryland earning a Business degree. He was a veteran having served in the United States Marine Corps from 1977-1989 as an aviator and flight instructor. After his military service, Steven was a commercial airline pilot for US Air and retired from American Airlines in 2012.
Steven married Judith Solenberger on April 26, 1975 in Hagerstown, MD.
Surviving with his wife are sons, Westley K. Enterline (Melina), Washington, D.C. and Darren J. Enterline (Elyse), Washington, D.C.; grandson, Maxwell R. Enterline; sisters, Ann Bradley (Mark) and Nancy DeSesa (Michael).
Steven lived for his family and will be greatly missed by all.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel. A reception will follow the service at Omps Reception Center.

We are very surprised and sad to hear that Steve had to go so soon. We wish we could have seen him again -- to reminisce about fun times at the University of Maryland and our "jug band" evenings in Colorado. He was such a wonderful person to be with...

So sorry to hear of Steve's death. Steve was a great person, always a lot of fun at the Enterline gatherings. May the Peace of God be with you all during this time.

We are so sorry to hear of Steve's sudden departure. He was a wonderful caring person, and a treasured cousin to the extended Enterline & Adams clans. He will be sorely missed!

This is sad news. Steve was my roommate at U of M for several semesters. Although we had not seen each other in many years, Steve was the best - a good friend and a fine person. Very sorry to read this - my condolences to his family. I know he will be greatly missed.
