Stephanie Tina “Steph” LeMay, age 64, of Winchester, Virginia, died Thursday, April 3, 2014, at Winchester Medical Center.

Mrs. LeMay was born in 1949 in Austin, Texas, the daughter of the late Thomas and Kathleen Maiorana. She was employed as an electronics assembler. Stephanie was known for her love of horses, gardening, especially organic gardening, as well as cooking. She was a loving wife, companion, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Stephanie made a lifelong impact on everybody she met and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Steph was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Lemay.

Surviving is her companion of 23 years, Kendall Smith of Winchester, son Stephen T. LeMay of Winchester, Virginia, seven grandchildren, Kirisa, Abby, Cole, Haven, KC, Kaliegh, and Abby, one great grandchild Zoey, and brother Larry Maiorana and wife, Sarah of Orlando, Florida as well as many extended family a and close friends.

She was preceded in death by brothers Anthony Maiorana and Sam Maiorana.

A private celebration of Stephanie’s life was conducted on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at her home.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. Stephanie was truly a special person. It was an honor to have know her. The time we worked together with Ron at The Flower Center will always hold a very special place in my heart. What an amazing lady!! "Steph" was beautiful inside and out. The love that she had for her family was obvious, she treated me like I was family and went out of her way to make me feel comfortable and loved. My thoughts and prayers are with Kendall,Steve, Kirisa and the rest of the family and friends. May God hold each of you in his lap and comfort you during this difficult time

Sincere sympathy to Kendell, Steven and family. She was a great cousin and I remember her attending my graduation party as a baby and also in the 80" at a family reunion she attended with her mother. She felt strongly about keeping family together and stayed in touch with family. Our thoughts are with all of you during this difficult time.
