Shirley Ann Campbell
Shirley Ann Campbell, 81, of Frederick County, Virginia died Sunday, July 31, 2016 at her residence.
Mrs. Campbell was born in 1935 in Ridgeway, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Minnie and Benjamin F. Benner. Shirley was employed for many years as a cashier with A&P which later became Superfresh. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to so many. She will be remembered for her love of faith, family, traveling and collecting. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She married Paul D. Campbell, Jr. on January 5, 1952 in Hagerstown, Maryland. He preceded her in death on September 18, 1991.
Surviving is her son, Paul Campbell, III and his wife, Chris of Concord, North Carolina; three daughters, Belinda Joy Linton and her husband, Harry of Inwood, West Virginia, Venisa Stonesifer of Winchester, Virginia and Teresa Ann Himelright and her husband, Clark of Winchester, Virginia; 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren as well as many extended family members and close friends.
Shirley was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers; Ruth, Grace, John, and Donald Benner.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 4, 2016, at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel with Reverend Dr. Aaron Fitch officiating. Interment will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park, Frederick County, Virginia.
