Sharon Celeste Barnett, 82 of Augusta, WV, passed away on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at Blue Ridge Hospice Inpatient Care Center.

Sharon was born in Fredericksburg, VA, the daughter of the late John and Mae Roach. She was a high school graduate and attended college. Sharon worked as an accountant in the retail industry. She was a social extrovert and wanted people to have fun. Sharon liked the Outer Banks, country music, art, and took care of several cats over the years. She worked as a bookkeeper for several companies before retiring. Over the years she played some tennis, bowled, and skied. It was always important to Sharon to make sure her sons were there and together on holidays or other gatherings.

She is survived by her significant other, Phil Haines; sons, Eddie Colunga of Philadelphia, PA, Barry Colunga of Augusta, WV, Seth Jamison of Raleigh, NC; grandchildren, Aaron and Nathen Colunga; great-grandchildren, Chole, Carter, Owen and Taylor Colunga and her brother, Wayne Roach.

In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Hank Barnett.
