Shannon Marie “Shanny” Davis, 36, of Inwood, West Virginia, passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2018, at her home.

Miss Davis was born in 1981 in Winchester, Virginia, the daughter of Shirley Jean and Wayne Marshall Davis of Stephenson, Virginia. She was a graduate of James Wood High School, Class of 1999. Miss Davis was a Vendor Manager with E. Benefits Insurance. She was a quiet, sweet, kind person who loved ice cream and playing Bingo. Shannon especially loved her cat, Tinkerbell.

Surviving with her parents is her sister, Kimberly Tobey and husband, Robert, of Bradenton, Florida; maternal grandmother, Irene Stroop of Stephenson, Virginia; nieces and nephews, Megan Orndorff of Augusta, West Virginia, Katlyn Tobey of Orlando, Florida, Robert Tobey, Hannah Orndorff and Travis Tobey, all of Bradenton, Florida, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and boyfriend, Keith Ridgeway.

Shannon is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Bobby Stroop and paternal grandparents, Pauline and Raymond Davis.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00–8:00 PM at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Friday at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel with Mr. Frederick Franklin officiating. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Frederick County, Virginia.

Serving as pallbearers will be Ricky Davis, Jerry Davis, Robert Tobey, Travis Tobey, Matt Fishel, and Danny Mahaffey.
