Sandra Jean Clowser, 67, of Harpers Ferry, WV, passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at Hospice of the Panhandle.

Sandy was born in 1955 in Pulaski, VA the daughter of the late Eugene Lee Keister and Katie (Goad) Gilmore. She was a graduate of Patterson High School in Baltimore, MD. Sandy retired from Lockheed Martin as a Security Specialist. She was a member of Grace Fellowship Free Will Baptist Church. Sandy loved collecting antiques, shopping at flea markets and watching classic movies. She enjoyed being in her garden, cooking for her family and spending time with them and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

Sandy married Richard Alan Clowser on January 19, 1974 in Baltimore, MD, he preceded her in death on January 6, 2019.

She is survived by her son, Dennis A. Clowser (Julena) of Fredericksburg, VA; grandchildren, Kaelan, Dylan, Kyra, Alyssa, Madison, Ava, Kaiden; sisters, Ida Ryckman of Winchester, VA, Joyce Dorsey (Gerald) of Rural Retreat, VA and Brenda Keister of Gettysburg, PA.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Gerald “Buddy” Clowser and brothers, Presley “Bubby” Collins, George “Dinker” Collins and David Keister.

A visitation will be Tuesday, June 20, 2023 from 6pm to 8pm with a service the following day, Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at 1pm, all held at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel. Interment will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park.
