Ronald A. Mitchell

Ronald Mitchell, 63, of Stephens City, Virginia, died Wednesday in his Frederick County home.

Mr. Mitchell was born in 1948 in Woodstock, Virginia, the son of Clifton and Elva Mitchell. He was a sprinkler fitter at Winchester Sprinkler since 2005. He was a member of the Brethren denomination.

Mr. Mitchell married Sandra Nesselrodt on December 27, 1969 in Winchester, Virginia.

Surviving with his wife and mother is two daughters, Teresa Mitchell, April Kidwell and her husband, Randall, two sons, Jeffrey Mitchell and his wife Angel, Jonathan Mitchell, all of Stephens City, Virginia; three grandchildren, Taylor Kidwell, Krystal Kidwell Bristol Kidwell, and a brother, Dale Mitchell and his wife, Robin of Front Royal, Virginia.

Mr. Mitchell was preceded in death by his father, Clifton Mitchell.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 PM on Tuesday at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel, with Pastor Clarence Davis officiating. Interment will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 6 – 8 PM at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel.

Our prayers go out to Ronnie's family. It's been many years since we've seen him. We know he was a great guy then and it seems like he has turned into a great man. Our dad (the late Jim Robinson ) was a good friend of Fuzzy's and also got Ronnie his job for the sprinkler company.I (Susan Robinson Judd) grew up with him and worked with Peggy for many years. My older sister (Connie RobinsonJenkins) was the same age as Ronnie they went through school together. We all thought alot of the whole family.You all our in our thoughts and prayers for your loss.
