Roger Joseph Feight, 73 of Winchester, VA lost his battle with Huntington’s disease on Monday, October 10, 2022.
He was born on November 14, 1948 in Cumberland, MD the son of the late Grant E. Feight and Beulah B. (Wiley) Feight Broadwater. Roger worked at Kelly Springfield Tire Company and later in sales and service. He served our country in the United States Air Force. Roger was a 1966 graduate of Alleghany High School in Cumberland, MD. He enjoyed time with his family, hunting, fishing, sports (especially basketball), reading and music.
Surviving are his wife, Kathy (Perry) Feight; son, Joshua J. Feight and wife Jill of Rowesville, SC; daughter, Rachel A. (Feight) Hayton and husband Dan of Berryville, VA; grandchildren, Tyler J. Feight, Jacob P. Feight and Lillian C. Hayton. He is also survived by many extended family members.
Along with his parents, Roger was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald E. Feight.
At Roger’s request, he will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at Burnt Factory United Methodist Church on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 12pm with a gathering of family and friends at 11am. Officiating will be C. Steven Melester.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Roger may be made to, Huntington’s Disease Research 13150.
