Robert Patrick Mockler

Robert Patrick Mockler, age 26, of Cross Junction, Virginia, died Saturday, July 23, 2011, at his home.

Robert was born in 1984, in Dublin, Ireland, the son of Marie Therese Mockler of Newbridge Co Kildare, Ireland and Patrick Mockler of Ireland. He was a graphic artist at Artz Road Studio, Woodstock, Virginia. He was a drummer for “Band on an Island” and he loved roller blading, creating music, photography, and all forms of art.

He married Meredith Kuykendall on June 29, 2009, in Winchester, Virginia.

Surviving in addition to his parents and wife are his sister, Melissa Mockler and his brother, Anthony Mockler, both of Newbridge Co. Kildare, Ireland, and his in-laws, Gene and Shelby Kuykendall of Stephens City, Virginia.

A celebration of life will be conducted on Thursday, 7:30 PM, at Lake Holiday Club House, Cross Junction, Virginia. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, please make contributions for burial expenses to Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel, 1600 Amherst Street, Winchester, Virginia 22601.
