Robert H. Adams
Robert Hallowell Adams, 92, of Winchester, Virginia, died Wednesday, August 27, 2014, in a local nursing facility.
Mr. Adams was born in 1922, in New Haven, Connecticut, the son of the late Frederick and Alice Adams. He was a Veteran having served in the United States Army Air Corps. Mr. Adams was a retired teacher with Fairfax County Public Schools and a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Winchester.
Surviving are two daughters, Pamela Wiegand and husband, John, of Fredericksburg, Virginia, Robin Burr and husband, Keith, of Winchester, four grandchildren, Matthew Stephen Eidson and significant other, Daria Brunn, Adam David Eidson and fiancée, Lee Walchester, Shabnam Bolduc and husband, Jason, and Joshua Abdollahzadeh and wife, Dustin; three great grandchildren, Christian Joshua Bolduc, Olivia Eleanor Bolduc, and Sydney Ann Abdollahzadeh.
Mr. Adams was preceded in death by his first wife, Eleanor May Hull Adams in 1996; his second wife, Fanny Baldwin Adams in 2011; and brother, Frederick Dibble Adams, III in 1969.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Friday, September 5, 2014, at Christ Episcopal Church with Reverend Bridget E. Coffey officiating. Interment will be in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
